Nansen Highland is a charity which is governed by a board of non-executive directors.

 

The board members have a wide variety of back grounds and experience.

   

Chair person: Dr Tad Baecker.

Tad is a retired consultant psychiatrist in learning disabilities. Tad has over 40 years experience in the field and helped to shape the service provision for learning disability in the Highlands.

 

 

 

 

 

Ms Leslie Johnstone. Leslie works for the local authority. She currently leads the legal and democratic services department.

 

Ms Nicki Walsh. Nicki has lots of experience in the world of work, as a human resource advisor, prior to her secondment to her current job which entails devising and implementing a new computer system for the local authority. Nicki is also a parent of one of the attendees at Nansen Highland.

 

 

Mr Pete Mulvey. Pete has lots of experience in the world of work. Previously working for the careers service and for the Highland council, he is now self employed. Pete is also a parent of one of the attendees at Nansen Highland.

Dieter Devriendt; Qualified social worker.

Yvonne Macdonald; Diploma in child and youth studies, PDA classroom assistant, SVQ 2/3 in childcare and education, working towards BA honours in Social Work.

 

Senior residential support worker (Lodge)

Vicky Millar; Qualified nurse; awaiting enrolment for SVQ level 3 in care.
