I have been with Nansen Highland since 2011 and have worked at Redcastle Station, Fram House and since 2017 at Tigh na Cloich.

My interests are History, Archaeology and Metal Detecting along with motor sports.

Love: my family, my work, adventure, art, singing, people, life and a whole lot more.

I have worked in Health and Social care for about 30 years now, I started working in home care, progressed to challenging behaviour and complex needs.

I live in Forres. Hobbies are walking my dog, gardening, and I like to dabble in various arts and crafts. All very boring.

Originally from Germany, I feel very privileged to have lived in the beautiful Scottish Highlands for many years and to now call this place my home. I have not always worked in the care sector, but I have cared for a family member for a long time. Having worked in a stressful sales environment, I decided to quit and look for a more meaningful occupation. That's how I got the job at Nansen Highland. The young adults I work with are happy and welcoming, and I enjoy supporting them to acquire life skills, gain more independence, and enjoy their lives to the fullest.

When I am not working, I spend my time hillwalking or enjoying long-distance walks with my dog Rosie, my husband, and my grown-up children. I also enjoy gardening, cooking, reading.
