I have been working at Nansen Highland since 2010 years. Nansen is a wonderful place to work. We give individualised training plan education, we also do lots of socialising, glamping, quizzes, fund raising and many educational outings.
My hobbies include, Endurance Riding, holidays in my Motorhome and eating out.

I started working at Nansen in 2013, the first 2 years in housing support and then moved over to Redcastle station where I have been since. Previous to this I have worked in care homes and been a kid's fitness instructor.
Outside of work I enjoy being outdoors on walks with my dogs.
I’m a mum of 2 teens also hence all the walks with my dogs.

I am a support worker at Nansen’s highland supporting young adults with learning disabilities a job I find very rewarding. Working for Nansen is a great place to work. No two days are the same and we have a great team.
My hobbies are swimming and dog walking as well as socialising.

I have joined Nansen team in 2019. During those years I have learned and benefited a lot from working with Young Adults here at Nansen. Overall, I feel that this job made me a better person.
My hobbies are walks, reading and learning more about some tricky aspects of history and enjoying life.

My name is Przemek (Shem). I have joined Nansen family in 2023. I work at the Red Castle Station. I am keen cyclist, I play table tennis, enjoy being outdoors, and I read a lot. I have two young kids and not too much time for myself.
Otherwise I would do: Abseiling, Bungee Jumping, Canyoning, Diving, Motocross, Parachute Jumping and I'd go around the world... at least two times. Also can't dance, sing or play any instruments.

Hi. I joined Nansen in October 2022 after spending 5 years at home looking after my kids. I am a mum of two girls, Rosie and Karolina who were born 17 months apart. I love to spend my time together with my girls, my husband and two fluffy cats, Gucio and Ninja. In my free time I enjoy upcycling furniture, reading books, walking, doing yoga, outdoor life and discovering new recipes for cooking. I do believe all my hobbies can be useful at the Station and I’ll be able to use my interests and skills when working with our young adults.

I joined Nansen as a support worker at Redcastle Station in August 2023. Throughout my career I have enjoyed working to support and empower others to achieve their goals. I like to be active in my daily life and love wild swimming, running and cycling with my family and pets. I enjoy gaining new skills and believe all learning can be fun.

I had left school at 16 as I was struggling to cope with school due to dyslexia and with bullying. After school, I attended Inverness College and gained a National Qualification in Art, but I was not able to move on further with my life.
I attended Nansen Highland as one of the young adults to gain skills to help my independence, life skills and to gain more confidence in myself.
I moved to Glasgow, lived independently, studied Illustration, and successfully completed the course, this despite my former teachers thought I couldn’t do it. But I didn’t listen to them and I did it without help on my own.
I applied for a part-time admin position at to Nansen to help the place that helped me, then moved on to teaching art. Now I teach lots of things like reading and writing basic maths.
I have overcome my dyslexia to high degree, but it will always be a part of me. I use my understanding of my own issues and the different tricks I have learned.
I enjoy the time I spend with son and do art when I am free.
